Juicy Lucy Burgers
Yields: 4 burgers
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb ground chuck (15-20 percent fat content)
- 2 slices deli sliced cheddar cheese, cut into 8 square pieces
- 4 soft hamburger buns, toasted
- 2 Tbsp. Canola Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- 3 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaisse
Directions
Burgers
- Split the beef into 8 equal parts, forming thin patties. (2 of these patties will be used to make a burger)
- Take 2 patties at at time and stack 2 pieces of cheese in between the patties
- Without handling too much, mold them together enclosing the cheese
- With your thumb place a deep indentation in the middle of each of the burgers
- Salt and pepper both sides.
- Heat oil in large non-stick saute pan over medium to high heat until almost smoking
- Add burgers to pan and cook first side 5 minutes, flip and cook other side 4 minutes
- Serve immediately on toasted buns with pink sauce and whatever else you might like on your burger

Combine all ingredients and serve on burger
